Author's note

Highjinks BB Italic, designed by Nate Piekos of Blambot, is a free comic display font with tall, sharply slanted capitals. Uneven widths, clipped corners, and abrupt bends give the lettering the unruly snap of a hand-drawn sound effect.

It can push both superhero posters and punk album artwork with the same aggressive forward motion. The letters also suit action-game graphics and youth apparel. Their jagged silhouette can become part of an explosion, impact burst, or other comic-style illustration.
