Author's note

Hnias by Lars Tornqvist is a free runic dingbats font with the feel of carved Nordic marks. The symbols look blunt, angular, and monolithic, as if they were cut into stone or wood, with compact silhouettes that read more like ritual signs than ordinary ornament.

That makes it a natural choice for fantasy book covers, game title cards, pagan or Viking-themed posters, logo marks, and chapter openers where a single sign can carry mood fast. As a free font, Hnias works best in short display settings, monograms, and emblem-like accents, because the letters behave like stark little inscriptions rather than flowing text.
