HollandGotisch by Johann M. Fleischmann of typOasis is a free blackletter font rooted in medieval manuscript forms. Tall verticals, forked tops, angular joins, and pronounced thick-thin strokes give the letters a formal, engraved look with occasional curling flourishes.
Medieval history and heraldry are its clearest subjects. It suits museum posters, historical event programs, fantasy game packaging, and book covers, where the dense lettering recalls illuminated initials and printed Gothic titles.
