Hollowedout by Lisa Essenmacher is a free outlined display font with broad slab serifs and a deliberately uneven, hand-cut profile. Fine inner contours leave the letters airy despite their imposing proportions. The mismatched edges keep it lively.
It can turn a title into an illustrated sign, making it especially well suited for poster lettering, album covers, and theatrical event graphics. The hollow interiors and slightly eccentric shapes also suit playful packaging and editorial features inspired by vintage print ephemera.
