Horrorhouse by Christoph Windmueller is a free distorted horror display font with jagged, damaged lettering. Uneven contours and broken-looking strokes give the forms a harsh, unstable silhouette. The rough construction recalls hand-cut titles and distressed print rather than clean digital type.
Posters are its strongest medium, especially for haunted attractions, horror films, and Halloween events. It also suits game graphics and music merchandise with an aggressive underground edge. The fractured letters can become part of the artwork itself, echoing cracked walls, torn paper, scratched surfaces, or other scenes of decay.
