Author's note

HotSweat, a free eroded display font copyrighted by Xerographer Fonts in 2012, uses broad, weighty letters covered in dense, scratch-like gaps. The damage gathers in uneven bands across the forms, giving the lettering a scorched, distressed surface rather than a softly weathered finish.

Concert posters are its strongest setting, especially for punk, metal, or noisy electronic events that suit the restless texture. It also fits album artwork and streetwear graphics. On beverage packaging or skate merchandise, the broken marks can become part of a larger field of splatters, grain, and rough illustration.
