Author's note

HVD Bodedo Medium by Hannes von Dohren is a free eroded woodtype display font with a rough, ink-worn presence. Its heavy serif letters feel pressed and weathered rather than neatly distressed, with chipped edges, speckled gaps, and a blunt Victorian poster tone that keeps the texture doing most of the talking.

That makes it a natural fit for record sleeves, bar and cafe branding, event posters, title cards, and short editorial cover lines where the worn printing feel matters as much as the wording. As a free font, it also suits monograms and drop caps, because even a few letters bring enough grit and old-press character to carry a layout.
