HVD Peace by Hannes von Doehren is a free eroded military display font with the blunt authority of stamped lettering and weather-beaten poster type. The caps feel heavy, blocky, and rough at the edges, with chipped surfaces and sprayed speckling that give the letters a worn field-kit character rather than a neat geometric finish.
It fits graphics that want a tough, service-mark mood: poster headlines, album covers, game title cards, event flyers, and apparel graphics. As a free font, it also works well for short cover lines or monograms where the battered texture can do most of the talking without needing extra illustration.
