HVD Comic Serif Pro by Hannes von Döhren is a free cartoon slab serif with oversized weight and a cheerfully uneven build. Its broad, blocky letters mix blunt serifs with soft bulges and slight shifts in angle, giving the lettering the handmade punch of a comic masthead cut from paper.

Packaging is its most convincing home. The dense shapes also suit posters, children's publishing, and merchandise, especially for snack brands, toy shops, or playful venues seeking a logo that can double as a chunky illustrated badge on labels, boxes, shop signs, and apparel.
