Author's note
Ice Sans by Wolf Lambert is a free comic display font with tall, narrow letters and a deliberately uneven hand-drawn finish. Soft corners, shifting stroke widths, and loosely rounded curves create a wiry silhouette that feels careful yet unpolished, much like marker lettering made for an independent cartoon, with open interiors and noticeably varied letter heights.
In children's publishing and classroom posters, the friendly shapes make headings approachable, while the same offbeat construction brings an expressive edge to indie music merchandise and cafe packaging. Slightly awkward proportions link all four settings to hand-drawn characters, editorial cartoons, and simple line illustration.
