Author's note

IFC WILDRODEO Bold by Anton Krylov of Inked Font Customs is a free Western display font built in the spirit of nineteenth-century wood type. Its massive letters have flared slab serifs, pinched joins, and uneven contours that lend the design a rough-cut poster quality. Strong shifts between broad and narrow strokes keep the forms lively rather than mechanical.

It turns a frontier poster into a piece of painted signage. Rodeo event graphics, saloon branding, western game art, and country music merchandise all benefit from the same carved silhouette, which ties modern design work to vintage show bills and rough timber storefronts.
