Author's note

I'm A Font Designer by Phillip G. Andrade of Dry Heaves Fonts is a free portrait dingbat font built from stark, hand-rendered faces with deep shadows, broken ink contours, and uneven edges. The scratchy portraits look blunt and deliberately unpolished.

Underground comics and punk graphics offer the clearest context for this coarse, photocopied style, which can turn gig posters, album packaging, and horror event graphics into dense, unsettling walls of illustrated faces. For editorial portraits and subculture merchandise, the exaggerated expressions can function as ready-made artwork tied to outsider music, dark comedy, or low-budget horror rather than ordinary text.
