Author's note

Infected is a free distressed display font built from heavy outlined capitals. Its blunt block shapes are chipped and broken by ragged gaps. Ink-like tendrils and splatters spread beyond the letters.

The branching marks can connect directly with horror illustration, turning a title into part of the artwork. They also suit album covers, game graphics, and Halloween event posters with an infected or overgrown theme. Across these uses, the damaged silhouettes and creeping extensions make the lettering resemble a contaminated object rather than clean typography.
