Author's note

Inkatakana is a free Japanese brush display font with forceful, hand-painted characters. Its uneven edges, shifting stroke widths, and blunt inked ends give the writing the raw immediacy of marks made quickly with a loaded brush.

Poster design is its clearest use, especially for martial arts events, independent films, and music campaigns with a rough physical edge. Restaurant branding is another good fit, though poster titles show its quick, forceful marks best.
