Author's note
Inklings by Maya Culpa is a free trash script with tall, wiry letters and abrupt changes from hairline curves to broad black strokes. Hooked tips and stray cross-strokes make the alphabet look thorny and unsettled.
Its branch-like marks can echo ink drawings, tangled vines, or spiky fantasy illustration on book covers and posters. The uneven silhouettes also suit experimental music packaging and dark game graphics, where the lettering can become part of the artwork rather than a neutral caption. It is most convincing in an illustrated title treatment.
