Author's note

Institut by M. Bulgrin is a free scary display font with a raw, ink-slashed finish. Its uneven letters shift between blunt daubs, dry streaks, and long tapering cuts, giving the line a nervous silhouette that feels scratched out at speed.

Horror posters are its clearest territory. The jagged marks can turn haunted-attraction signage and album packaging into part of the unsettling artwork rather than a neutral caption. It also fits punk merchandise and Halloween event graphics, where the smeared brush texture supports abrasive music, slasher imagery, and other deliberately rough subjects.
