Author's note

Inverse Block Merge V2 by Max Clayton Clowes of FontStruct is a free modular geometric sans serif built from rectangular strokes. Its rigid, narrow forms look closer to assembled panels than conventional drawn lettering. Abrupt changes in stroke width give the design an experimental edge.

The bar-like construction can echo grids, borders, and architectural silhouettes in posters, exhibition graphics, and electronic music artwork. For branding and merchandise, the letters can become part of a striped emblem or a system of modular shapes rather than serving as neutral text.
