Author's note

Isometype by Scott Scanlan is a free futuristic display font with sharply slanted letters and a hard-edged, mechanical silhouette. Deep diagonal cuts give the lettering its distinctive speed.

Designers working in motorsport, gaming, and electronic music will find its aggressive forward motion especially useful. It suits racing posters and game title screens, where the pointed joins and broken interior shapes echo machinery, speed lines, and digital interfaces. On album covers or merchandise, the lettering can become part of the artwork itself, reading like a custom badge or angular machine emblem rather than neutral type.
