Author's note

It Ain't Rocket Science, by Kimberly Geswein, is a free handwritten font with a loose marker-drawn feel. The letters lean on long, easy strokes and rounded joins, while the oversized, swooping A brings a slightly dramatic rhythm that keeps the casual script from feeling too neat.

It works well on classroom posters, scrapbook titles, greeting cards, blog headers, and playful packaging where a personal note matters more than polish. As a free font, it also fits short quotes, title cards, and quick branding touches, especially when you want lettering that feels written in one relaxed motion rather than carefully constructed.
