Author's note

Ivalician Gothic by el Hechicero of Square-Enix is a free medieval blackletter font with an unusually restless silhouette. Broad, dark strokes break into hooked points, blade-like cuts, and long sweeping tails. The letters vary in width and lean, giving the line the animated irregularity of hand-drawn display lettering.

Fantasy game audiences are the clearest match for its ornate, combative style. It suits title cards, event posters, and merchandise built around kingdoms, warriors, or arcane lore. On game packaging, the sharp extensions can become part of a crest or faction emblem rather than serving as neutral text.
