JEK5 by Alexey Melnikov is a free sans serif display font with tall, loosely drawn capitals and sharply changing stroke widths. Its letters lean, pinch, and flare in different places, creating an uneven silhouette that feels deliberately cut by hand. Narrow forms sit beside broad curves, and several joins end in blunt diagonal slices.
Angular collage shapes echo its irregular, cut-paper character. Those sliced edges and mismatched proportions suit music posters, festival programs, independent magazine covers, apparel, and album packaging, where the lettering can function as part of the artwork rather than a neutral label.
