Author's note

JGJ Dürer Gothic by Jeffrey Glen Jackson is a free medieval blackletter font with sweeping outer curves and sharply cut inner strokes. Its broad, dark forms alternate with fine hairlines and pointed joins. The result recalls ornate manuscript capitals.

In publishing, it gives fantasy covers and historical features the weight of an illustrated title page. Event posters and game graphics can draw on the same theatrical, old-world silhouette. Across merchandise, publishing, and entertainment, the recurring spikes and calligraphic sweeps turn lettering into part of the ornament.
