JLS Data Gothic RNC by James Stirling and the Fontry is a free techno display font with tall, rounded letters and a clean machine-cut profile. Broad arches meet clipped corners in a crisp mechanical silhouette.

JLS Space was the creator’s first computer-format font. It had uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and basic punctuation. The font was created during an all-night session without sketches or planning.

The project was later lost for fifteen years. Mike Adkins found the font file on a failing hard drive and sent it back to the creator, who began working on it again. Data Gothic began to form, and the project was completed nearly twenty years after it began.
