Author's note

Jockey Oblique by Manfred Klein is a free hand-drawn display font with wiry strokes and an offbeat schoolbook manner. Its rounded letters vary in width and lean at different angles, giving the line a lively, cut-paper irregularity. The construction stays clean and untextured.

Doodles and flat illustrations share its loose contours, making the lettering useful for children's packaging and classroom posters. It also suits comic event graphics and playful merchandise, where the uneven forms can become part of the artwork rather than formal labeling. In publishing, it brings a handmade voice to activity-book covers and informal feature headings.
