Author's note
Josschrift Serif by Jos Elsendoorn is a free handwritten display font with tall, looping letters and an easygoing homemade finish. Rounded strokes change in width, and bumps at the joins keep the lettering from looking mechanically drawn.
A children's shop, craft brand, or neighborhood cafe could use it for packaging and signage that should feel personal rather than formal. Its open curves also suit storybook covers and event posters, especially for cheerful, informal subjects. Beside simple line drawings, the uneven contours can read like part of the illustration instead of a separate typographic layer.
