Joystick by Neale Davidson of Pixel Sagas is a free condensed sans serif with towering capitals and a forceful, poster-scale silhouette. Its strokes swell into softly rounded joins, giving the narrow forms a rubbery quality rather than a strictly geometric finish. Widths vary noticeably, from broad open shapes to tightly packed vertical forms.

A concert poster is an especially convincing setting for this dense lettering, whose upright beat suits electronic music, club events, and arcade-themed merchandise. In magazine design, it can turn cover lines and section openers into graphic bars of type, linking editorial pages to the same punchy entertainment aesthetic.

This typeface is based on the lettering used on Sears' Tele-Games cartridges, which were rebranded Atari 2600 games. It includes the full alphabet, extended characters, the euro symbol, and bold and italic versions.
