Author's note

Jules Hand by Jules Ismail is a free rough brush script with broad, looping strokes and a distinctly handmade surface. The letters change sharply in width, moving from wiry joins to dense patches of ink. Ragged edges, dry-brush gaps, and uneven curves give the writing the restless look of paint dragged quickly across paper.

A music poster is an especially good setting for this raw lettering, and the same scraped texture suits album artwork, streetwear graphics, and event merchandise. Its broken ink can echo photocopied photographs, splattered illustrations, or distressed patterns, letting the words become part of the artwork rather than a clean label placed over it.
