Author's note

Jump Street, created by Weknow in 2012, is a free handwritten display font with exaggerated, elastic letterforms. Broad, swelling curves narrow abruptly into pointed strokes, giving the writing a restless silhouette. Its uneven proportions and shifting stroke widths make each letter feel individually drawn.

Street culture and independent music are especially convincing themes for its unruly movement. The lettering could shape gig posters, skateboard graphics, album covers, and youth-fashion branding, especially when the typography needs to become part of the artwork. Its loose, distorted forms are best suited to designers and audiences drawn to underground, handmade graphics.
