Author's note

Junction by Caroline Hadilaksono is a free humanist sans serif with slender upright strokes and broad, softly drawn curves that keep the lettering open and approachable. Subtle changes in stroke width soften its clean construction.

Editorial layouts and transit signage are very different settings, yet the font suits both through its plain shapes, generous proportions, and calm contemporary manner, especially when a project needs an understated voice rather than a themed or historical one. It also fits cultural branding and exhibition graphics, where its simple linear forms can echo diagram lines, map routes, and geometric illustration without competing with the content.
