Author's note

Jungle by Macromedia is a free distressed brush display font built from blunt, broken strokes and an aggressively uneven, hand-painted silhouette, with occasional spikes and dragged vertical marks. Ragged edges and scraped gaps keep every letter unsettled.

Its rough horror-poster character suits music artwork, game graphics, and Halloween event promotion, where the lettering can double as a torn or ink-smeared image. It is strongest on posters for haunted attractions and underground bands, with forms that resemble damaged paint more than conventional type.
