Author's note

Jura Bold by Ed Merritt is a free bold serif font with broad, sturdy shapes and softly rounded slab-like details. Its thick and thin strokes shift noticeably, and the compact joins give the lettering a slightly mechanical cast without losing the warmth of traditional type.

A technology poster is its strongest setting. The squared construction also suits software branding, game interfaces, and electronics packaging, where the letters can become part of the graphics rather than serving as neutral text.
