Author's note

Juristl Bold by Benjamin Tarmann is a free modern display font built from broad, nearly monoline geometric strokes, softened outer corners, and tightly controlled curves. Its letterforms favor squared openings, circular bowls, and abrupt joints, with several shapes reduced to unusual modular constructions. The result feels distinctly retro-futurist.

That machine-age styling makes a convincing basis for electronic music posters, game graphics, and science-fiction event branding, especially when the lettering can act like part of an interface rather than ordinary text. In publishing, its dense silhouettes and eccentric forms are well suited to technology magazine covers and feature openers with a deliberately synthetic look.
