Author's note

KadmosU, from the American Philological Association, is a free classical serif font with the calm, scholarly air of printed Greek and Latin studies. The letters pair high contrast with crisp, angled serifs and a slightly calligraphic rhythm, so the font feels literary rather than neutral.

It suits museum graphics, academic journals, book covers, cultural event programs, and title pages where a free font with historic tone feels more fitting than a modern text face. It also works well for short quotations, chapter openings, and cover lines, because those sharp serifs and gently formal curves give even a few words an unmistakably learned voice.
