Kallosia Decorative, created by Gene Buban of FontStruct, is a free ornamental blackletter font with a severe medieval silhouette. Broad, angular strokes form compact letters with pointed cuts and blocky feet. Delicate curling vines run through the main strokes, softening the fortress-like shapes with a repeated floral detail.
Fantasy book covers are its strongest setting, since the carved forms and climbing ornament can turn a title into part of the illustration. The same combination suits role-playing game graphics, themed event posters, and dark fashion merchandise aimed at audiences drawn to medieval fantasy and gothic decoration.
