Kawung Textile by Adien Gunarta is a free decorative display font centered on the repeating four-petal geometry of Indonesian kawung patterning. Broad capitals act as frames for the dense ornament, with curved cutouts and sharp diagonals keeping each silhouette distinct.
For textile branding, the patterned letters echo printed cloth and become part of the product imagery. Cultural event posters and craft packaging gain a direct link to traditional geometric decoration, despite their different formats. Textile labels are its most convincing use because the motif speaks directly to the material.
