Author's note

Kernel Panic NBP by Nate Halley is a free techno display font with an unusually tall, skeletal build. Its near-monoline strokes bend into rounded rectangular arches and tight geometric joints. Several letters finish in sharp diagonal cuts, breaking up the otherwise orderly construction with a slightly eccentric, machine-cut edge.

Its retro-computing character suits science-fiction posters and electronic music artwork. In game interfaces or technology branding, the narrow forms can suggest an encoded terminal or machine label. It also has the clean, technical profile needed for futuristic magazine covers and title pages.
