Kingthings Tendrylle, designed by Kevin King for Kingthings in 2008, is a free ornamental display font built from tall, curling letterforms. Its letters sprout thorny tips, looping vines, and jewel-like floral details.
Designers working with dark fairy-tale or Art Nouveau themes could use it for book covers, perfume packaging, event posters, and album artwork, where the curling forms can echo botanical illustration. It is most convincing in a theatrical title or product name, since the repeated seed, eye, and tendril motifs turn the lettering itself into a compact illustrated emblem.
