Author's note

Kingthings Xstitch by Kevin King is a free cross-stitch display font built from rows of small X-shaped marks. Its letterforms echo stitched samplers, with blocky proportions and pronounced slab-like serifs. The texture is crisp and unmistakably handmade.

Crafters and makers are the clearest audience for workshop posters and pattern covers, since the stitched construction directly reflects their subject. It also suits sewing-themed packaging and seasonal invitations. For a haberdashery brand, the repeated crosses can form a recognizable product identity.
