Author's note

Kioshima is a free non-Latin Unicode display font with broad, rounded forms and a strongly graphic silhouette. Thick strokes curl into open loops, hooks, and circular cutouts, giving the lettering a continuous, almost emblematic quality. Many shapes feel deliberately oversized and compact.

Its rolling geometry suits music and nightlife themes, especially for posters, event branding, and album artwork where lettering can function like a row of symbols. The repeated circles and inward curls could also become a recurring motif across merchandise and digital graphics, linking the text to abstract patterns or logo-like artwork.
