Author's note

Klonk, designed by Gerben Hoeve of FontStruct, is a free geometric sans serif built from broad, sharply cut strokes, rigid diagonals, and an emphatically solid squared structure. Sharp angles give the letters a blunt, machine-made silhouette.

It can give technology branding the force of an industrial mark, yet the same hard geometry also suits electronic music posters, arcade graphics, and science-fiction packaging with a deliberately severe, constructed edge. In those settings, the letters can echo circuit paths, steel panels, or angular game architecture, allowing the type to become part of the depicted machinery rather than serving only as a caption.
