Author's note

KN-TTUma by C-DAC in Pune, India, is a free rounded Kannada display font built from broad loops, compact curls, and softly changing stroke widths. The lettering has a hand-drawn ease, with open spirals, gently pinched joins, and recurring circular marks that turn each form into a small piece of ornament.

A Kannada children's publisher could adopt it as a cheerful brand face. The same looping shapes suit festival posters, snack packaging, shop signage, and educational graphics, linking these different uses through a decorative quality that can echo rounded illustrations, looping border patterns, and playful icon shapes rather than functioning as neutral text alone.
