Author's note

Knijper by CROL.rene.NL is a free object-based display font built from overlapping clothespin-like slats. Each letter uses sharp diagonals, narrow bars, and small circular joints to create a wiry, improvised structure. The forms look deliberately unstable.

Its repeated pegs and pivot points can extend directly into workshop illustrations or cut-paper collage. That construction suits craft-event posters, tool packaging, and playful merchandise, where the lettering can act as part of the depicted material. In editorial design, it is best suited to feature openers about making, repair, or inventive reuse.
