Koine Medium, a free Greek serif, carries a classical, bookish tone with tall contrast, wedge-like strokes, and softly flared details that make the letters feel rooted in inscription and early scholarly printing. The forms look formal without becoming stiff, and the rounded shapes beside the sharper joins give the font a measured rhythm.
It fits editorial mastheads, museum graphics, academic covers, cultural posters, and title cards where that Hellenic note matters more than neutrality. As a free font, it also makes sense for chapter openers, short quotations, and monogram-like initials, since the letters have enough character to hold a little space on their own.
