Author's note

Korean Calligraphy is a free hand-drawn display font with plump, uneven letters and lively shifts between broad brushlike strokes and fine joining lines. Loose curves, tapered tips, and slightly wobbly shapes give the lettering an inked, informal manner, though the generous inner spaces keep each form distinct and easy to follow at a glance.

Children's publishing and artisan food packaging are very different settings, but both suit its warm, handmade manner, and the same qualities also fit community event posters and cheerful merchandise. Rounded shapes can echo simple character illustrations, painted labels, or cut-paper graphics, turning the letters into part of the artwork.
