Author's note

Krabby Patty is a free cartoon display font with a loud, cut-paper silhouette. Its letters lurch between broad slabs, pinched joins, crooked curves, and sudden wedges, so the line never settles into a regular beat. Deep notches and mismatched proportions make each form look individually drawn, yet the dense black shapes hold the alphabet together.

Its offbeat cartoon style suits comedy posters, children's entertainment, game graphics, and novelty packaging, especially when the artwork shares its exaggerated shapes and scrappy humor. It is most convincing in a title treatment, where the irregular letters can function almost like a row of comic characters.

--

Krabby Patty is a recreation of the main font used throughout the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. It is based on graphics from the 2001 game Operation Krabby Patty.

The font does not scale well because its glyphs were created by auto-tracing low-resolution font textures.
