Author's note

Kram by Carlos Matteoli is a free futuristic display font with broad, engineered letterforms and a distinctly space-age silhouette. Rounded outer corners meet sharp diagonal cuts, and the open joins, clipped strokes, and unusual internal gaps give the alphabet the look of custom machine lettering.

Digital graphics are an especially good setting for its crisp geometry, making it useful for game interfaces and science-fiction title cards where the wide forms resemble an instrument readout. It also fits electronic music packaging and technology branding. The recurring slots and cutaway sections can echo circuit traces, control-panel markings, or the hard edges of spacecraft illustration.
