Author's note

Kratos is a free retro wood-type display font with a blunt, poster-era voice. The caps mix heavy slabs, sharp wedge cuts, and a few dramatic inward bites that give the letters a carved, theatrical rhythm rather than a smooth classic serif feel.

It fits branding with a vintage pull, music or event posters, packaging, title cards, and short cover lines where a free font needs a bold period accent without turning ornate. The broad tops and pointed breaks make the letters especially at home in big initials, monograms, and short headlines, where that old showbill energy comes through fast.
