Author's note

Kremlin Minister, designed by BCD/MFA, is a free Russian-inspired geometric sans serif with the stark construction of Soviet-era display lettering. Its severe angles, upright strokes, and pared-back curves make the letters look engineered rather than drawn.

Constructivist-inspired graphics are its clearest setting, especially for cultural posters, museum publishing, and music merchandise. It can also shape editorial cover lines for articles on politics, architecture, or Eastern European history, where the lettering itself supplies a period reference.
