Author's note

Kreon by Julia Petretta is a free contemporary serif font with a sturdy, bookish voice. Its broad capitals and compact lowercase forms use firm slab-like serifs, softly bracketed joins, and gently changing stroke widths. The lettering feels substantial yet not rigid, helped by rounded curves and a few lively, asymmetric details.
