Kurkku is a free high-contrast retro display font with extremely narrow letterforms and a severe, fashion-led silhouette. Broad vertical strokes meet hairline curves and crossbars, like strips of cut paper. The effect is crisp and unusual.
Its refined contrast can suit both fashion publishing and experimental music posters, despite their different audiences. Packaging for perfume or cosmetics can draw on the tall proportions and precise curves. In branding, the lettering gives an art-conscious label a cool, unconventional signature.
